About Amy
A proud lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, Amy Cozze has dedicated her professional career to public service, community advocacy, and leadership. With over 20 years of management expertise, including more than 10 years as a successful small business owner in Northampton County, Amy understands the problems facing families and businesses. Her background as a Northampton County employee in administration, court services, and as Chief Registrar of Elections, provided her with firsthand experience with the complexities of county government, where she participated in ensuring that residents had efficient and responsive services.
Amy was a member of senior staff to Senator Bob Casey, as Director of State Outreach Amy collaborated with county governments across Pennsylvania to solve real-world issues and advance policies that gave power to the local communities. Appointed to Pennsylvania's bipartisan Election Law Advisory Board, Amy collaborated with leaders from all corners of the state to advance secure and smooth elections. Amy's oversight of four flawless elections in 2020 and 2021 at the County is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity in the public sector.
Extremely involved in her community, Amy served on the Nazareth Business Council, where she represented the small businesses of Main Street, and the Public Policy Committee, where she was a voice for bipartisan bills backing the Lehigh Valley's burgeoning economy. Amy's studies—a degree in psychology and business administration at the University of Pittsburgh and an AA in Human Resources Management—equipped her to be an effective leader and motivate others.
As a mother of two wonderful boys and a lifelong student, Amy uses the same firm but fair leadership at home as in her work. Her love for Northampton County is personal—having lived in Easton, Wind Gap, Moore Township, Nazareth, Bethlehem, and elsewhere, she's familiar with the unique character of the region, from the Slate Belt to the vibrant downtown of Bethlehem.
Amy's leadership philosophy is built on service, accountability, and teamwork. After an early state house bid in 2018, she has spent the last seven years growing as a leader, learning best practices in county government, and building relationships that deliver results. She subscribes to leading from the front, setting a good example, and working day and night to ensure Northampton County thrives for future generations.
